About
Capturing an essence of the otherworldly, MOLTENO’s music is an immersive sonic and visual journey through the universe and beyond. Her dreamy soundscapes start to take shape in her bedroom studio and are built up with collaborators to blend real with surreal.
An accomplished vocalist, songwriter, producer and multi-instrumentalist, she has been praised as the ‘love child of Björk and Bat For Lashes’, attracting support from Tom Robinson at BBC Radio 6 Music, Spotify and Apple Music editorial, Clash, Wonderland, Notion, EARMILK, 1883 and Amazing Radio in the UK and US.
Often described as a convergence of dream pop, folk feels and trip hop beats, her releases since 2022 have followed the elements: Element 1 for fire, Element 2 for air, and the singles Treading Water and Daydream opening Element 3, for water. Each one celebrates an element and the way nature connects us.
Given that MOLTENO is an immersive project, she collaborates with fashion designers and visual artists, allowing her now signature colour palette and style to remain individual, with touches of the futuristic.
With her last London headline show at The Love Shack a sell out, MOLTENO has taken her atmospheric live performances to Camp Bestival, Fractalight Festival Of Light and Camden Assembly, alongside radio sessions for Shoreditch FM and Soho Radio.
